Of course #BOSaware

On April 6th we celebrate Bohring-Opitz Awareness Day!

Interactive Visual Aid

This year we present this new Interactive Visual Aid on the most common symptoms of Bohring-Opitz Syndrome (BOS), which have been described in the medical literature and case studies in recent years between 2006 – 2023. We also highlight treatment options noted in the important “Bohring-Opitz syndrome” research.

Although children with Bohring-Opitz Syndrome often look alike, and their clinical phenotype at birth is extremely similar, each child is unique and may be affected differently. Not every child will have all the classic physical characteristics, and the variation in levels of development from one child to the next can be great.*

Of course …

… we are unique! And, of course, sometimes our lives are incredibly difficult, and we are faced with countless challenges. Of course, the list of symptoms we might have is long, but it does not define us as human beings. We are loved by our strong and tireless parents and have a life full of joy and happiness! So, please meet Bo, Jos, Opal, and Ava, they will tell you what their life is like!

Meet and Celebrate

We invite you to share this Interactive Visual Aid & Of course … Quotes with your family and friends on the occasion of the International Bohring-Opitz Awareness Day on April 6th! Celebrate with us and meet each other on Facebook & Instagram!
